Ability to have multiple different users access a gallery through a link. All with different passwords and options so they can have different favorite lists, etc.

Support multiple unrelated visitors selecting in a gallery

Currently all of the selections/approvals/flags etc made by any visitors are visible to all visitors, and this is awesome when the gallery is for one client (eg headshot client, wedding couple, etc). For the use case where one gallery might be shown to multiple unrelated clients (eg a sporting event, dance concert, etc), it would be great if there was a way to make those selections independent and visible to only the gallery owner. (So client A might tag image #1 as a favourite and image #2 as yellow; client B might tag image #2 as red and #3 as a favourite, but reject #1).
This would mean each image has distinct sets of flags for each visitor, and the advanced view for the gallery owner would need to allow filtering by visitors... probably a super complex feature that is a little bit outside the normal use case.

It would also be cool to allow some users view only permissions and others download permissions. Sometimes, I want my client to be able to download, but then send the same gallery to someone else as view only. Right now, I have to create a new gallery to do this.

This would be huge!

Hi Kris, you are touching a very important topic here. We have been thinking about this a lot internally and as you mentioned it really is quite a complex thing to solve. It would be great to have a setting per gallery so that the owner can choose if user feedback should be public per image/gallery or independent for each user. Let me know if you would be open to discuss this in a short call. We have some design drafts and approaches already and it would be great to align with you.

Michel Luarasi: Hey - Ah wow, that's cool that you're thinking about it too. I'm definitely ok with a chat about it; I don't know that my use cases are typical, but I'm super happy to talk about it!

Kris Anderson: Great! I'll send you a private email so you can book a slot.
